IT’S TIME DAHLIA [Intro — Complete Silence, Antique Clock Ticking] [Tick… Tock… Tick… Tock…] [Clock Begins Striking Midnight] [DONG! DONG! DONG! DONG!] [The Bell Continues Until Twelve Strikes] [Sudden Silence — One Breath] [EXTREMELY HIGH, SUSTAINED SOPRANO HEAD VOICE — NO WHISTLE REGISTER] IT’S TIIIIIIIIIIIIIME! [Long, Brilliant High Note — Cascading Melismatic Run] [EXPLOSIVE ORCHESTRAL CHRISTMAS INTRO — Sleigh Bells, Brass, Strings, Gospel Harmonies] [Verse 1 — Playful, Warm R&B Vocals] There’s a little magic in the air tonight Every window glowing with a golden light Got my favorite dress and my dancing shoes And a thousand little reasons to be close to you Snowflakes falling on the avenue Everybody’s got a wish or two Hear the children laughing down the street Oh, December’s got a different kind of beat! [Pre-Chorus — Rising Vocal Runs] Can you feel it coming? Can you hear those bells? Something in the winter Got me under its spell Turn the lights up brighter Let the whole world shine Oh, I’ve waited all year for this— [HIGH SOPRANO BELT] And now it’s finally time! [Chorus — Huge Festive R&B-Pop Hook] It’s time! Let the Christmas lights shine! Put a little love in the atmosphere It’s the sweetest time of year! It’s time! Let your heart come alive! Everybody singing, everybody glowing Feel that Christmas feeling growing! Oh-oh-oh, let the bells ring high! Oh-oh-oh, like stars across the sky! It’s time, it’s time, it’s Christmas time! [Post-Chorus — Playful Layered Harmonies] La-da-da, da-da-da, it’s time! La-da-da, let your love shine! [High Melismatic Ad-Libs] Ooh, it’s ti-i-i-ime! [Verse 2 — Groovy, Confident] Red ribbons underneath the tree Little handwritten cards for you and me Grandma’s singing something out of tune While we’re dancing in the living room No need for diamonds, no need for gold Just another hand for mine to hold All the little things that money can’t buy Make the season feel so bright! [Pre-Chorus — Higher Harmony Stack] Can you feel it coming? Can you hear those bells? Every little moment Has a story to tell Turn the music louder Let the whole world shine Oh, I’ve waited all year for this— And now it’s finally time! [Chorus — Bigger Vocals, Gospel Backing] It’s time! [Bridge — Piano and Soft Choir] And if the year was heavy If the nights were long Let the winter hold you Till the hurt is gone Every heart deserves a little light Every lonely star can shine tonight [Ascending Vocal Run — Chest to Mixed to High Head Voice] Oh, let it shine… Shine… SHIIIIINE! [Final Chorus — Key Change Up One Semitone, Full Orchestra and Gospel Choir] IT’S TIME! Let the Christmas lights shine! Put a little love in the atmosphere It’s the sweetest time of year! IT’S TIME! Let your heart come alive! Everybody singing, everybody glowing Feel that Christmas feeling growing! [EXTREMELY HIGH SOPRANO HEAD-VOICE AD-LIBS — NO WHISTLE] Oh, let it ri-i-i-ing! Hear the angels si-i-i-ing! It’s time, it’s time— IT’S CHRISTMAS TIIIIIME! [Outro — Orchestra Stops, One Bell Rings] [Soft Spoken Voice] Merry Christmas, everybody.
