Find the U in UNITY

I was looking for the answer In the spaces between stars Didn't know the revolution Was beating in my heart I was shouting into silence Thought nobody heard the call Didn't know the voice I needed Was inside me all along There's a U in unity Can't have we without the me First you gotta find your fire Then we'll burn together free Find the U in unity Stand up now and you will see You're the spark that starts the blaze You're the one we need Find the U in unity I was drowning in the noise Of everyone else's truth Till I heard my own voice whisper You were always the proof I was building walls for safety Brick by brick I disappeared Till I realized the fortress Was made of everything I feared There's a U in unity Can't spell us without the trust First you gotta know you matter Then we rise because we must Find the U in unity Stand up now and you will see You're the spark that starts the blaze You're the one we need Find the U in unity One voice becomes two Two voices become ten Ten become a hundred Hundred starts again You find you I find me We find us We are free Find the U in unity Stand up now and you will see You're the spark that starts the blaze You're the one You're the one You're the one we need Find the U in unity Can't have we without the me First you gotta find your fire Then we'll burn Then we'll rise Then we'll be Together Forever The U in unity You're the U You're the U You're the U in unity
