Verse 1) The valley is wide and the mountains are tall, Sometimes we feel like we’re way too small. The Giant’s in our life begins to taunt, Of every failure and every ghost that still haunts. Maybe your giant is a bottle or a pill, A cycle of addiction you can’t seem to kill. Maybe it’s sickness or the weight of the grief, Searching through tears for a moment’s relief. (Chorus) But the same God who spoke to the shepherd boy’s heart, Is the same God who’s been with you right from the start. The same hand that guided that stone through the air, Is reaching down now to answer your prayer. You don’t have to tremble, you don’t have to run, The battle is His and the victory is won. Put your hope in Jesus, let the giants fall, He’s the King of the Valley and Lord overall. (Verse 2) The world says you’re weak and you’re destined to lose, But you’ve got a power they never will choose. It’s not in the sword or the spear or the shield, It’s the name of your Savior that makes the dark yield. Who defines you and to who do you belong You’re the light of his life and you’ll never be wrong The evil one whispers you’re fighting alone, But he’s just a footstool beneath the High Throne. (Bridge) He’ll give you courage, He’ll give you strength, He’ll go to the heights, and He’ll go to the length. To fight for your spirit, to fight for your soul, To take back what is broken and make it all whole. One name is higher, one name is true, The God of David is fighting for you. (Chorus) The same God who spoke to the shepherd boy’s heart, Is the same God who’s been with you right from the start. The same hand that guided that stone through the air, Is reaching down now to answer your prayer. You don’t have to tremble, you don’t have to run, The battle is His and the victory is won. Put your hope in Jesus, let the giants fall, He’s the King of the Valley and Lord overall. (Outro) The Lord goes before you, He will always be with you He will never leave you or forsake you Or ever turn his back against you So, pick up your stone. Watch the giants fall. In the name of Jesus... Watch them fall.
