V6

[Verse 1] Black boots kicking dust down an old road, Two blades hanging where the cold wind blows, Half a grin underneath that smoky haze, BlindSmoke wandering for another couple days. No throne, no kingdom, no master, no chain, Just a little bad humor and a whole lotta game. If a loudmouth fool wants to run his mouth, He’ll laugh real hard while he shuts him down. [Pre-Chorus] You can lock the doors, You can bar the gate, But smoke slips through, And smoke don’t wait. [Chorus] BlindSmoke! Drifting wherever the wild wind goes, Laughing at fools while the white smoke rolls. Raise your cup high, let the good times flow, You never know where that djinn might go. BlindSmoke! Two silver blades and a crooked grin, If trouble starts, he’ll gladly jump in. He ain’t looking for glory, riches, or fame— He just wants a laugh and somebody to blame! [Verse 2] Walked into a tavern somewhere out west, Bartender looked up and said, “Give it a rest.” “Sir, there’s no smoking allowed in here.” BlindSmoke laughed, “Then we’ve got a problem, I fear!” Some fool in the corner said, “You don’t look tough.” Smoke leaned over, said, “You sure talk enough.” Ten seconds later, chair upside down, And the whole damn tavern was laughing at the clown. [Pre-Chorus] He’ll crack a joke, He’ll draw a blade, Then disappear Into the haze. [Bridge] “I wish you good fortune In the wars to come…” Smoke curls higher. “Now it begins.” Steel meets steel, Sparks fill the night, Laughing like a madman In the middle of the fight. Knock him down? He gets back up. Break his blade? He’s still talking stuff. And when the whole damn battle finally ends… “Not bad, friend… Care if I take a smoke break?” [Breakdown] HA! Smoke in your eyes! Steel at your side! Run if you want— There’s nowhere to hide! Talk big! Fall hard! Get back up again! BlindSmoke ain’t looking For enemies— He’s looking for friends! …Mostly. [Final Chorus] BlindSmoke! Traveler born where the strange winds blow, Never stays long and he never walks slow. From castle walls to the old crossroads, You’ll know he was there by the lingering smoke. BlindSmoke! Laugh till sunrise, fight till dawn, By the time you wake up, the djinn is gone. No crown on his head, no place called home— Just two sharp swords… And the open road. [Outro] White smoke rising, Bootsteps fade. Another fool embarrassed, Another friend made. And somewhere down the road you hear him say: “Come on, friend… Lighten up.”
