We decided that a RV Would help save some money So we started searching classifieds For somethin' that'd Please my honey Made a trip one day To the dealership Only to find out A new one cost more Than a replacement hip! Man it's gotta get better than this Why do they cost so much They're just aluminum And tomato sticks Maybe we'd be better off Just staying in a Motel 6 Drinkin' a beer and Lounging by the pool Instead of going deeper in debt Like some kinda fool Finally found the perfect one Guy said "She's ready to run!" Laid out the money And hit the road To quickly find out That we'd bought a toad! Parts flying off and hitting cars Had to pull over before we got far Got out the pliers and duct tape Got 'er goin' again And made our escape Worked on it for weeks at home Thought we were ready to hit the road Got 200 miles from the house Then the dogs found a mouse Goin' down the highway At a high rate of speed Dogs barking and the wife screaming Makin' my ears bleed Thinkin' to myself Good Lord I hope I'm dreamin'! I'm workin' my ass off for you I need a long Hot shower Ain't had one in days Workin' on this RV Keeps me in a daze And my wife thinks I'm crazy I need a tall cold beer Or maybe just an off day Cause if I don't finish this thing I'm gonna have A full psychotic break Finally got parked at the campground Thinking that now I'll have a few days free Just after dark Turned on the TV Only to find out we can't stream Because my dumb ass Parked under the trees And we still gotta get home!
