Sometimes when life is upside down And your head is turnin around When you can’t plant your feet on the ground You Pray When times are moving way to fast When number two is always last When your mind starts bringing you back to the past You Pray When you're doin just what you’ve been told And you step on someone elses toes Cause your searching for that pot of gold You Pray When the boss says you failed the test Clean up your act or clean out your desk Don’t stay Creator is telling you you’re on the wrong path And your current heading will not last Trust in him, He’ll show you the way Just Pray Leave the roads and city streets Drop the computers and the phone Find a forest of ancient trees And walk among them, alone The spirits of those ancient trees And the souls of ancient man Will cleanse you of technology And connect you with the land Do not fear, put your heart in his hands Shake the modern world and strife Walk barefoot on the ancient land And feel your changing life Look to the free floating clouds above And Listen to the wind A message will come, the right words from him To Pray When you are done you will talk to the trees And the spirits of ancient man You will find a new energy and feel connected with the land You will know all the right words to say And find peace in the knowledge you’ve found a new way.. Because you Prayed Faith in our Father has shown you the path You know in your heart this one will last. Because you Prayed Because you prayed
