第２楽章：Andante 第１楽章の古典的な響きから一歩進み、この楽章では少しずつ現代的な響きへと近づいていく。ピアノを加え、全体を通してどこか哀愁を帯びた旋律と空気感を描いた。 独奏トランペットによる短いカデンツァを挟んだ後、弦楽器とともに第１主題が姿を現す。そこから鈴と弦楽器のピツィカートによる伴奏に導かれ、どこか肌寒さを感じさせるような第２主題へと移っていく。ここではテンポをほんの少し上げ、独奏トランペットが高音域のロングトーンを響かせる。 その後、低弦とフルートとの掛け合いを経て、再び第１主題が回帰する。やがて第２主題へと移り、音楽は次第にコーダへと近づいていく。 楽章を通して流れるのは、華やかさよりも静かな哀愁である。その空気を最後まで失うことなく、余韻を残しながら静かに第２楽章を閉じる。 ーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーー 2nd Movement: Andante Moving a step beyond the Classical character of the first movement, the second movement gradually shifts toward a more modern sound. The addition of the piano helps create melodies and an atmosphere imbued throughout with a subtle sense of melancholy. Following a brief cadenza for the solo trumpet, the first theme emerges together with the strings. From there, an accompaniment of sleigh bells and pizzicato strings leads into the second theme, creating an atmosphere that evokes a certain wintry chill. The tempo increases slightly at this point, while the solo trumpet sustains a long note in its upper register. After an exchange between the lower strings and the flute, the first theme returns. The music then moves once more into the second theme and gradually makes its way toward the coda. Rather than brilliance or grandeur, it is a quiet sense of melancholy that flows throughout the movement. Maintaining this atmosphere to the very end, the second movement draws to a gentle close, leaving behind a lingering sense of reflection.
