Spanish Funk (respect GRP label & Spyro Gyra)
Writer's Note This song was written in FL studio when I was in high school. Every Suno version of this song has the same melody line that I created, and no matter how many times I let Suno work on it, it never changes. In a sense, my melody is winning against Suno in this case. I dedicated this version to GRP Records, which was founded by Larry Rosen and Dave Grusin, and is considered the first smooth jazz label. The sound of this song makes it immediately clear how much they influenced me. it's smooth jazz, so a instrumental, but there's a wonderful chorus at the end. There are also full vocal versions available. P.S. There was once a song called "Water Side"(1980) on an album by a session band called "Fuse One," organized by Jeremy Wall of Spyro Gyra. It was an arrangement of Smetana's classic masterpiece, "The Moldau." I learned about it much later, but it featured super guitarists Larry Coryell and John McLaughlin, who played intense acoustic guitar chords and electric guitar. This song even reminded me of the influence I had received from them. ================== [chorus] night goes on, night goes on with rhythm journey goes on, journey goes on
