[Intro] Saffron City. Don’t think too loud. Mind ya business. [Verse 1] Two Gyms in town, guess who kept the crown? Psychic beat Fighting, put the dojo down. Now they hand out Hitmon, runner-up prize, I hand out Marsh Badges, ruining lives. Warp through the Gym, get lost on the way, By the time you find me, I read every play. Reach for your ball, but I already know, Saw how this ends about three turns ago. Bent spoons young, now I bend the whole bracket, Telepathy clean, every bluff, I unpack it. Lie to my face? Better come with a plan, I hear truth in your head before words ever land. From Silph to the station, they know who I be, Put it up for the block, spell it out with me: S-A-F-F-R-O-N, CITY. [Chorus] Mind ya business, 'fore I mind it for you. Saffron City in this bitch, better mind how you move. Mind ya business, I got eyes in your dome. Psychic queen on the throne, Saffron City my home. Mind ya business, don't think you slick. Your whole game plan leaked before you even clicked. Call me Her Saffron Highness while I... mind your business. [Verse 2] Gen One, I was busted, that's facts, no cap, Psychic ran the generation, put the crown on the map. No Dark on the chart, no Steel in the mix, Ghost stepped up tough, couldn't do me shit. Bug was my weakness, but your options were trash, Bring Beedrill to Zam, watch that counter get smashed. That wasn't luck, that was royalty's reign, Game Freak built a kingdom, forgot me a chain. Then Gen Two landed, heard the players complain, Dark and Steel pulled up just to balance my reign. Call it balance or patches, whatever you choose, They rewrote the whole matchup 'cause they hated to lose. Alakazam posted, that's my right-hand brain, Wild Special and Speed, Psychic bringing the pain. Finally deal damage? Recover, reset. Whole turn disappeared, what the fuck did you get? Red and Blue remember, Yellow got filthy, Abra, Kadabra, Zam, all sitting at fifty. Call me a level spike, call it bullshit or grit, I was a boss fight wearing Gym Leader drip. [Verse 3] Fans still debate who's the hardest in Kanto, Misty got Starmie, that's adorable, bravo. Whitney got Miltank, made a generation scream, I had Gen One kids grinding levels in their dreams. Don't bring the anime saying Ash beat me clean, Run that badge back, tell me what you really seen. Haunter made me laugh, that's how Ash got through, Won with a punchline, not a battle he could do. Brock and Misty learned that my house played rough, Turned 'em into dolls when the battle got tough. Little-girl Sabrina had your childhood seeing red, Decades down the road, still living in your head. Three years pass, still the queen of Saffron, Johto crossed the border, found Sabrina still on. Espeon pulled up, Alakazam stayed, Different generation, same queen getting paid. [Bridge] You train your body, I train what makes it move. You study matchups, I already studied you. You plan tomorrow like you got something to prove. I already lived it. Now watch it come true. [Verse 4] No legend on deck, no dragon to flex, Just a spoon and a stare while I'm breaking your set. Hardest Gym Leader? Go debate that claim, Being in the discussion puts weight on the name. I don't bark, I don't chase, I just sit and I know, Why brag that I'm winning? I watched it unfold. Take the badge if you earn it, go flex with your crew, I knew if you'd get it before you walked through. Saffron on my back, Psychic under my heel, I don't predict the future, I tell it what's real. Bring my name up anywhere, better say it with me, Put some fucking respect on Saffron City. [Final Chorus] Mind ya business, 'fore I mind it for you. [Outro] Marsh Badge on the table, you ain't making it far, Walked into Saffron thinking you came for a star. I saw every move before you stepped in the scene, You were chasing that badge, I was already the queen. Every loss, every switch, every move you went through, Every thought in your head, baby, I knew that too. Now bow to Her Saffron Highness, pay what is due— And mind ya fucking business... 'fore I mind it for you.
