"Ignition Sequence (Welcome to the Shop)"

"Ignition Sequence (Welcome to the Shop)" [Intro - Atmosphere] (The track begins with the ambient sounds of a heavy industrial garage. A massive corrugated steel door rolls up with a rusted, echoing screech. Heavy boots walk slowly across a concrete floor. The distant sound of the Galveston saltwater tide rolling in. A lighter flicks open, sparks, and catches. A slow, heavy heartbeat kick drum begins to pulse.) [Spoken Interlude - Sam (female)] (A low, vibrating sub-bass hums in the background, making the speakers physically shake. A lone, distant slide guitar bends a single, mournful note. Sam’s voice is smooth, cinematic, and echoing slightly, like she’s speaking over a PA system.) "There are two types of people in this world. Those who run from the fire, and those who learn how to weld. You are about to step onto a heavily fortified perimeter on the Texas coast. The man you're about to hear didn't just survive the absolute worst the world had to offer—he swallowed it, digested it, and built a machine out of the bones. He outlived the reaper, he locked the monster in the floorboards, and he built a fortress around the ones he loves." (The heartbeat kick drum speeds up slightly. A gritty, palm-muted electric guitar starts chugging a slow, threatening rhythm.) "What you are about to hear is the absolute law. It is the history of the damage, the legacy of the engine, and the testament of the juice. Keep your hands away from the machinery. The perimeter is armed." [Spoken Verse - Matt (male)] (The heavy, chugging guitar gets louder. The talk box lets out a low, mechanical growl. Matt steps up to the mic, his voice low, gravelly, and carrying all 50 years of mileage.) "Welcome to the shop. Wipe your boots at the door. Don't mind the scorch marks on the concrete—that’s just where the devil tried to collect a debt he couldn't afford. We do things a little differently on the island. We don't hide the scars, we polish the steel. I spent a decade in the dark so I could stand in the light, and I didn't come this far to whisper." [Pre-Chorus Build - Matt (male) & Sam (female)] (The drums start rolling. A high-pitched, warning siren begins to wail in the background. The tension is winding up to the absolute breaking point.) (Matt - male) "So pull up a chair." (Sam - female) "The engine is primed." (Matt - male) "Check your pulse." (Sam - female) "The timeline is aligned." (Matt - male) "And whatever you do..." (Sam - female) "Do not step over the line." [The Drop - Matt (male)] (Complete silence for one split second. No instruments, no background noise.) (Matt - male - spoken, a low, arrogant growl) "Throw the switch." [Outro - Full Band] (A catastrophic, heavy industrial-metal chord strikes with the force of a bomb going off. Cymbals crash, the bass drops to the floor, and the talk box screams out a wild, electric wail. The massive instrumental groove rides out for twenty seconds of pure, head-banging power, setting the tone for the rest of the album, before suddenly cutting to black with the sound of a heavy circuit breaker snapping shut.)
