--- Nearing the end of the Country / EDM "album" I have been playing with. For this song I wanted that feeling when things all come together. When all the hard work, all the experiences, all the training, everything falls into place and you hit your stride. You're no longer trying to chase catching lightning in a bottle, you've become a lightning factory instead. Success isn't "luck" anymore, it's a combo of all the blood sweat and tears that you have put into your work. The persona handled the song about how I would expect and I enjoyed the variety in the song. One of the areas that Suno was struggling a bit with was the Bridge. In this generation, it got it to be how I wanted it to sound. A nice slower more intimate vibe than the musical interlude. Ending with a nice solid build up of strength. :-) Just one more song to go, and I plan on making it one that pulls out snippets of all the rest of the songs into one that covers the entire "Experience" of the album. :-) ~David --- [Musical Intro] [Steady kick pulse building under rhythmic acoustic guitar, rising synth swell like a storm forming] [Verse 1] Used to pray for a spark in the dark Now I’m striking matches in my own backyard Every late night, every missed call Every time I hit that wall Wasn’t pretty, wasn’t fast Had to learn how long growth lasts Calloused hands and restless dreams Built this current underneath [Pre-Chorus] I stopped waiting on a sign from above Turns out the storm was something I already was [Chorus] I’m not chasing lightning anymore I’m a lightning factory Every failure wired the floor Now it’s running back through me Hard work humming in my veins Timing lining up just right I didn’t stumble into this flame I brought this fire to life I’m not hoping it strikes by chance I know exactly what I’m worth When talent meets the trained hands That’s when you shake the earth [Verse 2] Used to think it had to feel like luck Like magic falling outta random dust But magic’s just a polished scar From every time you pushed too far Now the rhythm sits in my bones Melody feels like coming home Words don’t run, they fall in line Like they were waiting for their time [Pre-Chorus] All the doubt that used to scream Now it works for me [Chorus] I’m not chasing lightning anymore I’m a lightning factory Every setback built the core Now it’s flowing naturally Sweat and patience, hand in hand Failure taught me how to stand I didn’t wish for this to be I earned every spark in me [Musical Interlude] [Big uplifting EDM drop blended with country guitar riff — confident, powerful, not chaotic — victory energy] [Bridge – Breakdown Moment] There were nights I almost quit Almost folded, almost split But I stayed long enough to see What staying did to me You call it timing, I call it years Of facing down my own fears Now the moment’s finally clear— [Final Chorus – Expanded] I’m not chasing lightning anymore I generate the heat Every lesson, every scar Is power at my feet I’m in the flow, I know the way No more begging fate to choose I didn’t wait for perfect days I built the storm I use Yeah I built the storm I use [Outro – Triumphant but Grounded] No more bottles for the sky No more waiting on a sign Hard work turned the switch in me Now I strike every time [Musical Ending] [Beat drives out strong, guitar rings, synth fades wide and bright]
