(Verse 1) You came into our lives with gentle eyes, A wagging tail beneath blue skies. Every step, through joy and rain, Your love could always ease the pain. (Pre-Chorus) Though you’re gone, your love remains, Shining through our joy and pain. Every heartbeat, every prayer, We still feel that you are there. (Chorus) Oh Theo, you’ll never be gone, Your spirit in our hearts lives on. Through every breeze, through every light, You’re the brightest star in the night. We’ll miss your bark, your faithful soul, You made our broken hearts feel whole. Forever loved, forever near, Dear Theo, you’ll always be here. (Verse 2) The footprints fade, but not the love, You’re watching over us above. Every memory, every smile, Makes the tears worthwhile. (Bridge) If love could keep you by our side, You’d never have to say goodbye. Until the day we meet once more, You’ll be waiting at heaven’s door. (Final Chorus) Oh Theo, you’ll never be gone, Your spirit in our hearts lives on. Forever our friend, forever true, There will never be another you. Sleep peacefully, run wild and free, You’ll always mean the world to me.
