V8.3.9 ✨ 🎙️[Amari’s Voice]🎶 [Intro: Instrumental - Intimate Piano and Swelling Strings, Sensual Soft Sweet High Alto Female Voice; Start sparse and close-mic’d; Piano + Violin + Cello - Bars of gentle melody before the voice enters] Ohh…. Ohh…. Ohh… [Verse 1] — You keep rewinding… Old scenes in your mind… Every wrong you remember… You’re holding on to it tight… Every tear you still hide… It’s written in the sky… Things you repented for…. You once had let them go… Almighty God, is not holding them… You’d laid them down when He called… Weeping with a contrite heart… You’d brought it all before His Throne… He already knows all your faults… Lovingly forgave them all… [Chorus] — Only the liar, calls your name with chains… Only the thief, keeps dragging out your shame… The enemy, is great at playing games… Jesus Christ, already wore that cross… He already carried all that cost… A pardon is a pardon when you say… “I receive the price You paid in my place” This is why the stone rolled away… This is what Easter is today, Always forever to remain… [Verse 2] — Easter is not stories… In pastel and paint… Bunnies… Chickens… Laid eggs… It’s about the One… Who gave His life… Paid a hefty Cost… Suffered on the Cross… This is a graveyard… Where a body once lay… Hands that were pierced… Reached into your night… Tore up the record… And wrote your name in His life… [Chorus] — Only the liar, calls your name with chains… Only the thief, keeps dragging out your shame… The enemy, is great at playing games… Jesus Christ, already wore that cross… He already carried all that cost… A pardon is a pardon when you say… “I receive the price You paid in my place” This is why the stone rolled away… This is what Easter is today, Always forever to remain… [Bridge] — You repented… You returned… A prodigal child… So why hold ashes… When they’ve burned… Forgotten… Never to return… He’s not accusing… He’s not mad… His scars are singing… “Child Come back” Ohhh… [Chorus] — Only the liar, calls your name with chains… Only the thief, keeps dragging out your shame… The enemy, is great at playing games… Jesus Christ, already wore that cross… He already carried all that cost… A pardon is a pardon when you say… “I receive the price You paid in my place” This is why the stone rolled away… This is what Easter is today, Always forever to remain… [Outro] — Remember the truth… The true meaning of Easter… Not what men say, it’s today… Remember what your called for… Hold true to the Word for your age… So let the past fall from your hands… Walk out free in His embrace… This is why He died, paid the price… And He rose on the third day… This is the Pardon in your place… (This is the Pardon in your place…) Ohh… Ohh…. Ohh… [Outro: Instrumental - Ensemble Cello + Violin - Final single piano note, sustained, silence]
