Tremors and ripples, Pulsating quakes, Nature's own rhythm, Rolling waves on a lake. Shimmering starlight, Echoing thunder, Volcanoes erupting With fire from under. From whispering winds To the hammering rain, The deafening silence Twists in my brain. The dead of night, The sun out of sight, With bees in their sleep, A leaf aches for light. Roots claw the soil, Grasping the stone, The breath of the earth Rumbles through bone. Mist on the meadow, Haze in the air, Ash and dew Stain the lair. Mountains weep, Rivers mourn, Under a shifting sky, A new morning is born. The moon sinks low, Fading from view, Colors ignite, And the world is made new.
