Children of the Corn

Back in the day Down on Highway K-10 A bunch of outlaws with tattoos and Mohawks Built a club out of an old outhouse In the middle of a cornfield I swear to God it was like a scene from Mad Max People would come from miles around Driving out of the city and down the highway Then a right turn onto this old gravel road You could see this shack in the middle of nowhere The corn towering up above And these cars parked out in front of it You go inside There were no windows The walls were painted black And it was all open A small stage on one end and a bar on the other All concrete floor and if you weren't part of it And you weren't used to it It would freak you out You wouldn't know what was going on People doing whatever they wanted Anything went There were no rules And it was lawless The Outhouse On Highway K-10 The Outhouse A club out in the cornfields The Outhouse I swear to God it was like a scene from Mad Max The Outhouse It was a lawless place The Outhouse People would come from miles around The Outhouse Cars parked out in front of it When the show was over And the club was closed You could go out back and it was like Woodstock People would camp out back behind the Outhouse The music was so loud and so aggressive And it was all hardcore And you would go in and you would be sober And you would come out all fucked up And you would see the cornfields breathing And you would have this ringing in your ears And you would just have to decompress And it was just surreal The stars were out The corn was swaying in the wind People would be out there camping Drinking beer and partying All night long You could see the bonfires going And you'd hear the occasional yelling Or some skirmish The Outhouse Out on Highway K-10 The Outhouse I swear to God it was like a scene from Mad Max The Outhouse The music was so loud and so aggressive The Outhouse The stars were out The corn was swaying in the wind It's hard to describe it Unless you were there You could hear the chanting and the drums I mean it was like a ritual Or some tribal dance You could hear it echoing Off the cornfields
