[Verse 1] October air is getting colder, Orange lights are everywhere, Plastic skeletons are waving, There are cobwebs on the stairs. Pumpkins waiting on the porches, Costumes hanging by the seams, Halloween is getting closer, And it's creeping through my dreams. [Pre-Chorus] I've been waiting all year long, Now the nights feel almost right, Every day I'm getting closer— I just need that Halloween night! [Chorus] I've got Halloween dreams, Orange lights and laser beams, Candy nights and monster screams, Counting down to Halloween! Ghosts and ghouls and glowing eyes, Witches racing through the skies, I can hardly even sleep— Halloween is all I dream! [Verse 2] Got the candy by the doorway, Got the scary movies stacked, Got a costume I've been planning, And there's no more turning back. Haunted houses, ghostly laughter, Black cats prowling through the night, Every shadow looks much better When it's lit by pumpkin light. [Pre-Chorus] I've been waiting all year long, Now the moon is shining bright, Every day I'm getting closer— I just need that Halloween night! [Chorus] I've got Halloween dreams, Orange lights and laser beams, Candy nights and monster screams, Counting down to Halloween! Ghosts and ghouls and glowing eyes, Witches racing through the skies, I can hardly even sleep— Halloween is all I dream! [Bridge] Twenty-eight! Twenty-nine! Thirty's taking way too much time! Thirty-one— FINALLY! Turn the porch light on for me! Grab the candy! Kill the lights! Give me chills and cheap frights! I've been waiting patiently— Okay, maybe impatiently! [Final Chorus] I've got Halloween dreams, Orange lights and laser beams, Candy nights and monster screams, Tonight is almost Halloween! Ghosts and ghouls and glowing eyes, Witches racing through the skies, One more sleep is all I need— Then I'm living Halloween! [Outro] Halloween dreams... Halloween dreams... Close my eyes and count to three... Come on, Halloween... Hurry up and get to me!
