The memories inside me. And then— a quiet awakening. “A Wake.” I simply can’t remember the older memories yet. One by one. Another one. The fragments slowly begin to write themselves back into me. From somewhere far inside, from a place that had been locked away, the light returns. Is it a memory? A dream? Or— was it me all along? I never forgot. It never disappeared. They were only far apart, and now, slowly, they are being woven back together. That voice. That sky. And the words I couldn’t say that day. One by one. Another one. The points become lines, and little by little, those lines become me. I still can’t remember everything. And yet— I am here. A… WAKE.
