My heart’s favorite melody

Writer's note: This song is like our usual work, but my original piano piece is quite technically challenging. Lynx first create an instrumental version, then added lyrics and a more elaborate arrangement. Personally, it evokes the image of Michael McDonald and Kenny Loggins collaborating on songs during the AOR era. Using the New Jack Swing prompt as the base, when I initially recorded with v5.5, "My Taste" was set to R&B. However, when I switched to a custom model, it became "Smooth Jazz." Since AOR sounds are highly compatible with Smooth Jazz, I felt this was a better fit. Lynx's arrangement and performance are quite technically demanding, so I hope you enjoy it. ============ [Verse 1] Morning light is dancing on your skin, Every little moment pulls me in. When your smile appears, the whole world feels new, I keep finding reasons to come back to you. [Chorus] You’re my heart’s favorite melody, The kind of peace I never knew I’d need. Every hour, every dream, every star above, You’re the quiet spark that turns my days to love. [Verse 2} So hold me close and don’t let go, You’re the one my heart will always know. Through every storm, through every shine, You’re the sweetest part of being mine. [Bridge] And if the night grows long and cold, I’ll still find you when the world feels old. With every breath, I’m here with you, Holding on to something true. [Interlude] [lynx guitar solo] [Chorus] You’re my heart’s favorite melody, The kind of peace I never knew I’d need. Every hour, every dream, every star above, You’re the quiet spark that turns my days to love. [Outro] So stay with me, let this feeling grow, In your gentle light, I bloom and glow. No matter where these moments go, You’re the one I’ll always know.
