Spartacus ( King of The Living Room)
Verse 1 Now Spartacus ain’t your average cat, He don’t do sweet, he ain’t about that. Black as midnight, got a permanent scowl, And Lord help strangers when he starts to growl. He likes me fine and Jordan too, The rest of y’all? Well, good luck to you. He’ll roar like a panther from the jungle wild, Then throw a little tantrum like a spoiled child. Chorus He’s the king of the living room, Ruler of doom and gloom. Got a face that says, “Don’t test me, son,” But he’s Mama’s baby when the day is done. Mean as a rattlesnake, tough as can be, Till Mama leaves the house and he cries dramatically. Spartacus, Lord what a fuss, The fiercest scaredy-cat God ever gave us. Verse 2 Won’t go outside, no sir, not him, That front door might as well be the edge of the rim. A leaf blows by and he runs for cover, Acts like the backyard’s another planet altogether. He’s picky with food, turns up his nose, At perfectly good dinners, heaven only knows. One day he’ll eat it, the next day he won’t, A cat with opinions and a list of don’ts. Chorus He’s the king of the living room, Ruler of doom and gloom. Got a face that says, “I’ll end your day,” But he follows Mama everywhere anyway. Mean as a rattlesnake, tough as can be, Till Mama grabs her keys and he starts to plead. Spartacus, Lord what a fuss, The fiercest scaredy-cat God ever gave us. Bridge He’ll stalk through the house like a jungle beast, Then cry at the door when Mama’s gone at least Five whole minutes, maybe four, Like she’s never coming back through that door. And when she returns, you’d swear it’s been years, He’s singing the saddest song in feline tears. That mighty panther act falls apart, ’Cause Mama still owns his little heart. Final Chorus He’s the king of the living room, Commander of the household gloom. Growls like thunder, strikes like lightning too, Unless you’re in the chosen few. Got an RBF that could stop a bus, But deep down he’s soft and ridiculous. Spartacus, all bark and fuss, Mama’s baby boy pretending he’s dangerous. Yeah, Spartacus, The world’s toughest mama’s boy cat… and he knows it.
