[Verse] David grabbed his harp started pluckin' strings Saul sittin' there with a face that stings Throwin' spears didn't solve no things But David strummin' turning bad to swings [Verse 2] Melody pourin' out like rivers flow Saul's dark clouds startin' to go Face brighten like a late night show David's tunes makin' good times grow [Chorus] Rockin' Saul's blues away Night to day hey hey With a strum and sway Chase them dark clouds away [Verse 3] David's fingers dancing on the strings so fast Saul's frown fade memories of the past No more crazy storms that last Just sweet sounds blastin' vast [Verse 4] Beats thumpin' heart steady like a drum Saul's foot tap tap forgettin' to be glum Magic music makin' him hum Oh the blues now feel so dumb [Chorus] Rockin' Saul's blues away Night to day hey hey With a strum and sway Chase them dark clouds away
