Let Love Lead the Way (original mix)

///*****/// [(Intro)] Cold lights fade in the pouring rain Hearts collide through the fear and pain Every shadow starts to break away When we let love lead the way [(Verse 1)] I was running through the midnight haze Lost inside all the empty days Trying hard just to numb the ache But your voice made the silence break Falling down through the darkest skies You were there when I closed my eyes Like a spark in the freezing grey You said love could lead the way [(Pre-Chorus)] When the world keeps pulling us under When the silence feels too strong We can rise above the thunder We were never meant to walk alone [(Chorus)] Let love lead the way tonight Through the fire and the flashing lights Hold me close when the sky caves in We can still feel alive again Let love lead the way somehow Through the lost and the here and now Every heartbeat will guide us home No more standing here alone [(Drop)] Let love lead the way Let love lead the way Through the dark, through the pain We are not afraid [(Verse 2)] Broken roads and abandoned dreams Nothing’s ever as lost as it seems Every scar leaves a silver flame Every soul wants a chance to change You and I in the afterglow Like a river that overflows No more hiding from yesterday When we let love lead the way [(Build)] Higher now We are weightless Hear the sound Hearts awaken No fear now No more fading Love will carry us through [(Final Chorus)] Let love lead the way tonight Through the stars and the neon light Even if all the heavens fall We will rise above it all Let love lead the way again Through the chaos beneath our skin Every moment can start anew If I’m standing here with you [(Outro)] Cold lights fade but the feeling stays We found hope in the pouring rain Every shadow dissolved away When we let love lead the way
