I went walking in the snow on a lovely Christmas morn, When a goat in sparkly trousers blew a yodel on a horn. I said, “Good sir, it’s early!” but he didn’t seem to care— He yodeled loud enough to blast the baubles off the tree fair! (Yodel Hook) YODEL-AY-HEE-HOO, YODEL-AY-HEE-HAA, Yodeling goat on Christmas— THIS IS BIZARRE! Then the snowman joined the goat, with a carrot for a mic, Yodeling like a mountain lord on a holiday hike. The reindeer covered their ears, Santa fell off his sleigh, And yelled, “STOP YODELING BEFORE I SUE YOU ALL TODAY!” YODEL-AY-HEE-HEE, YODEL-AY-HEE-HOO, Even Santa’s shouting, ‘WHAT HAS CHRISTMAS COME TO?!’ Then the goat said proudly, “I am spreading Christmas cheer!” And yodeled so intensely it froze the atmosphere. The angels in the heavens all facepalmed in despair— One muttered, “Every bloody year… it’s ALWAYS the goat, I swear.” But the children loved the noise and they danced around the snow, And soon the whole town joined him with a mighty yodel flow. The mountains shook, the stars blinked twice, the moon fell off a cloud— And Santa sighed, “Oh fine then… let’s yodel VERY LOUD!” YODEL-AY-HEE-HOO, YODEL-AY-HEE-HAAA, A goat-led Christmas chorus Shaking near and far. YODEL-AY-HEE-HOO, LET THE SNOWSTORM ROLL— It’s a YODELING CHRISTMAS, Bless our festive souls!
