[Intro] [strummed acoustic guitar with percussive accents] As Jesus walked beside the sea, the Sea of Galilee, He called out to two fishermen, said, “Come and follow me.” They didn’t ask him where or why; They didn’t weigh the cost. They dropped their nets and walked with him the pathway to his cross, As Jesus started down that road, He knew what it would cost For Him to take on all our sin, to save a world that’s lost, To offer hope to anyone who heard his gentle plea, “I know where I am going; so, come and follow me.” CHORUS “Come and follow me. Come and follow me. I know where I am going; so, come and follow me.” We, too, are called to make a choice; we know both where and why. The pathway goes beyond the place He rose into the sky. When Jesus calls us to his side, says, “Come and follow me.” His plan is that we will abide with Him eternally. CHORUS 2 “Come and follow me. Come and follow me. Heaven’s where we're going, come and follow me. Heaven’s where we're going, come and follow me. Come and follow me. Come and follow me. Come and Follow me.” [guitar fades out]
