[Intro: Task] Ugh It's not that Not that I'm first [?] [?] Yuh [Verse 1: Task] Ninety-six, found out I exist Raised a fist, changed the shit Steady pace, ready for the race, hit the ground Gotta go around, bringin' it down, that's the sound Where it's at, I'm the chosen one, not a fad I stand tall, listen to the call Brawl, somethin' like my hero [Verse 2: Spence] I was first to hit the grind, I'ma get what's mine Y'all didn't know me then, but now you do Can't you see my point of view? You are in a different place, different space You're on a different pace, get out my face And now you're tryna catch up to me That's why you're beggin' me And it's been a while, I've seen your face I don't think you're worth the chase So go back to your girl, she needs you She really wants to please you But you don't even have a clue 'Cause you know that we are through You know I don't need you You know I don't need you You know I don't need you [Chorus: Spence] First to hit the grind, I'ma get what's mine Y'all didn't know me then, but now you do Can't you see my point of view? You're in a different place, different space You're on a different pace, get out my face Now you're tryna catch up to me That's why you're beggin' me And it's been a while, I've seen your face I don't think you're worth the chase So go back to your girl, she needs you She really wants to please you But you don't even have a clue 'Cause you know that we are through You know I don't need you You know I don't need you You know I don't need you [Outro: Task] Yeah First to hit the grind I'ma get what's mine [?] Now you do Can't you see my point of view? Yeah
