One remains while the other escapes
Such is the tragedy of laundry day

Every full moon
You can hear the faint sound
Of a sock lost in the cold
"Will I ever see my brother again?
He needs to know that I lived"
And every full moon
There's a whisper in the air
From a sock who lost his twin
"Will I ever find him? I need to know
He made it through the spin"
