🧀🧀🧀 Feeling burnt out by Suno so here ya go 🧀🧀🧀 Dedicated to all the socks that were lost and never found. _______________________________________________ Many moons ago In a land full of socks The warmest pair of them all Had a fateful night in a washer full of fright The end was coming for one A flash of light in the night as they fought To get out and return to the drawer And when the time had come to see if they won One sock was left all alone Some say it left through the drainage pipe Or through a black hole in the machine And now it wanders the land of socks Trying to find its pair again Tumbling, spinning The world keeps whirling around Separated by forces beyond control One remains while the other escapes Such is the tragedy of laundry day Every full moon You can hear the faint sound Of a sock lost in the cold "Will I ever see my brother again? He needs to know that I lived" And every full moon There's a whisper in the air From a sock who lost his twin "Will I ever find him? I need to know He made it through the spin" Some say it left through the drainage pipe Or through a black hole in the machine And now it wanders the land of socks Trying to find its pair again
