Behold Your God The Complete Collection of Prophetic Songs of Isaiah. Around seven hundred years before Jesus Christ, before the message of Isaiah the prophet went out to the nations, there was first a vision of the glory of God. The prophet was brought before the throne of heaven and saw the Lord, high and lifted up, and the train of His robe filled the temple. Above Him stood the seraphim declaring: “Holy, holy, holy is the LORD of hosts; The whole earth is full of His glory!” (Isaiah 6:3) In the presence of such holiness, human pride is silenced. The prophet saw his own unworthiness and cried: “Woe is me, for I am undone!” (Isaiah 6:5) Yet the God who revealed His holiness also revealed His mercy. His guilt was removed, his lips were cleansed, and he was sent with the Word of the Lord. From that heavenly vision flowed a message that would reach across generations: a call to behold the greatness of God, to trust His promises, and to look towards the salvation He would accomplish. Behold Your God: The Complete Collection of Prophetic Songs of Isaiah is a devotional collection of Scripture songs drawn from the prophetic writings of Isaiah, taken from the New King James Version of Scripture and arranged into a journey of worship, reflection, and meditation. This collection has been created so that these inspired words would not only be read, but sung — allowing the truth of Scripture to move from the page into the heart. The collection is arranged into three companion volumes: The Songs of the Prophet The Messianic Songs The Songs of the Servant The songs seek to preserve the words and themes of the prophetic writings, while the choruses draw attention to the fulfilment of these promises in Jesus Christ. Through Scripture and song, we are reminded that the promises revealed through the prophet find their ultimate fulfilment in the Son of God — the promised Messiah, the suffering Servant, and the King who reigns forever. As the Apostle Paul declares: “For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us.” (2 Corinthians 1:20) May this collection lead us on the same spiritual journey: From beholding the holiness of God... To recognising our need for Christ’s grace... To seeing the glory of Jesus Christ... And to joining the worship of heaven: “Holy, holy, holy is the LORD of hosts; The whole earth is full of His glory!” May these songs lift our eyes, strengthen our faith, and draw our hearts to the God who has revealed Himself. “Behold your God!” (Isaiah 40:9)
