Jones Creek Pride

[Verse] Way back in the day, settlin’ the land, Brave folks with calloused hands, Cleared the fields, built homesteads with love, Under Texas skies, blue above. [Chorus] Jones Creek, hold your head high, From settlers’ bravery to the modern sky, Local pride, roots run deep, In our hearts, forever we’ll keep. [Verse 2] Cowboys rode, streaks of gold, Stories of the past, legends bold, Rustic barns and fields so wide, Jones Creek’s spirit, we can’t hide. [Chorus] Jones Creek, hold your head high, From settlers’ bravery to the modern sky, Local pride, roots run deep, In our hearts, forever we’ll keep. [Bridge] Now the kids run in sneakers, playin’ in the shade, Hip-hop beats where the anthems are made, Historic heroes paved this path, With soul and pride, feel the wrath. [Verse 3] Generations of grit, tales untold, Modern slang mixin’ with the old, Deep vocals singin’ of Jones Creek’s fame, A one-horse town, shout its name.
