THE FATHER IN ME They gave me words. They gave me creeds. They told me what I had to believe. But then I read. I heard His voice. The Son spoke clear. I had a choice. “My Father.” “My God.” The words remain. So simple. So plain. I searched the pages. I searched the night. Behind tradition I found the light. The Father in me. The Father in you. This was the promise. This was the truth. Jesus revealed Him. Jesus showed the way. Out of the shadows. Into the day. The Father in me. The Father in you. We are His children. Made alive. Made new. The letter killed. The Spirit gave life. The old world faded. The morning arrived. No distant temple. No veil remains. No empty religion. No covenant chains. God dwelled in Jesus. His works were shown. The invisible Father Was finally known. The Son was faithful. The Father was near. The old was passing. The new was here. The Father in me. The Father in you. This was the promise. This was the truth. Jesus revealed Him. Jesus showed the way. Out of the shadows. Into the day. The Father in me. The Father in you. We are His children. Made alive. Made new. Who did Jesus pray to? Who sent the Son? Who raised him? Who made him Lord? “My Father.” “My God.” Listen again. Listen again. Not man’s tradition. Not man’s creed. Open the Scriptures. Read what you read. The Father in me. The Father in you. The promise is living. The covenant is new. Jesus revealed Him. The darkness is gone. We are His children. His Spirit lives on. The Father in me. The Father in you. No longer waiting. The promise came true. The veil is gone. The old has passed. The Spirit gives life. We are home at last. The Father in me. The Father in you. His children. His dwelling. All things made new.
