Gutter Monkey (Live at Rockstore - Montpellier, France)

Live 1990s raw garage punk / heavy grunge at Rockstore, Montpellier, France, Second song of the concert, immediately after a violent opener, Packed low-ceiling club, bodies shoulder-to-shoulder, hot humid air, amps shaking close walls, bass vibrating the floor, dense short reflections and constant crowd bleed, Fast pounding drums, dirty chugging bass, angular erratic guitar riff, sharp feedback and explosive loud-quiet-loud dynamics, Manic, chaotic choruses with the crowd screaming the title, Cobain-style male vocals: gritty raspy chest voice, snarling verses, frantic screams, audible breath and strain, Raw lo-fi cassette character, overloaded peaks, sloppy live energy, no polished separation, no arena reverb, no outdoor ambience, Very short, violent and explosive, Abrupt ending
