My soul… glorifies the Lord My spirit… rejoices in God my Saviour He has seen… the humble state Of His servant — mindful — mindful — From now on — all generations Will call me blessed — blessed — The Mighty One has done… great things for me — Holy — holy — is His name His mercy rises — generation to generation To those who fear Him — fear Him — Mighty deeds with His arm — arm — Scattered the proud — in the thoughts of their hearts! Brought down rulers — from their thrones Lifted up — the humble — the humble Filled the hungry — with good things Rich sent empty — away — away He has helped His servant Israel — Remembering mercy — mercy — To Abraham… and his seed… forever — As He promised — promised — our ancestors! My soul… magnifies the Lord Holy… holy… is His name From generation… to generation… Mercy — mercy — forever —
