“The Sapphire Storm”

V4.5+

She rose from the cliffs where the cold winds bite, With a coat stitched in thunder and boots laced in spite. Her tricorn was feathered, her pendant aglow, And the frost on her breath sang of shipwrecks below. Oh the Sapphire Storm, she sails through the squall, With cannons of silence and snow in her call. No compass can find her, no map dares to chart, She’ll steal your allegiance and freeze your heart. Her crew were all shadows with eyes made of flame, Each bound to her oath, each void of a name. They danced on the deck when the blizzards would roar, And vanished like ghosts when she stepped to the shore. Oh the Sapphire Storm, she sails through the squall, With cannons of silence and snow in her call. No compass can find her, no map dares to chart, She’ll steal your allegiance and freeze your heart. She’s hunted by kings, she’s cursed by the stars, Yet none can outrun her frost-tempered spars. Her sails catch the moonlight, her hull hums with dread, And the sea sings her name where the brave men have bled. She once ruled the tropics with fire in her veins, But the cold took her crown and rewrote her domains. Now glaciers obey her, and tempests align, To carve out her legend in crystalline brine. Oh the Sapphire Storm, she sails through the squall, With cannons of silence and snow in her call. No compass can find her, no map dares to chart, She’ll steal your allegiance and freeze your heart. The taverns still whisper of battles she won, Of ships turned to statues and sailors undone. They say she drinks moonlight and sleeps in the tide, And wakes when the thunder and ice coincide. She carved through the ice with a hull made of flame, And the glaciers would whisper her frostbitten name. No harbour could hold her, no anchor could bind, She sails on the edge of the mortal and mind. The stars tried to warn us, the moon turned away, But we followed her banner through blizzards and spray. Now we drift in her wake, half-lost and half-known, Still singing her legend in frost and in bone. Captain calls: “Who sails the storm with sapphire eyes?” Crew responds: “We sail with frost and no disguise!” Captain calls: “What oath do we keep when the cold wind moans?” Crew responds: “We swear by ice and shattered bones!” So mark your last breath when her shadow appears, She trades not in mercy, she barters in fears. Her banner’s a sapphire, her oath is the storm, And her name is a warning in frostbitten form. Oh the Sapphire Storm, she sails through the squall, With cannons of silence and snow in her call. No compass can find her, no prayer can impart, She’ll drown you in silence and freeze your heart. Her legend will echo through tempest and tide. The Sapphire Storm, forever she’ll ride.
