[Verse 1] Son, you're goin so far away And I got, a few things I'd like to say This world, can be an ugly place Folks doin, every-thing God hates People with hearts coal-black, Tryin' to stab you in the back They'll stand right there, and lie right to your face. [Verse 2] A part of you will be wantin', to repay But have your heart fixed on the Lord, this I pray Cause you're on God's narrow road And you live by a different code From His Word we know that there's, a better way [Chorus] Just Kill em with kindness They're walkin' in blindness Slaves to sin, and they know not what they do. But it no longer binds us, And the Word reminds us. To do, unto them, as you'd have them do to you, So just kill em with kindness [Verse 3] And don't, seek justice, for yourself. You gotta leave, that old self, on the shelf. So turn the other cheek, Using grace, in what you speak Show mercy, as God draws them, to Himself [Verse 4] Think, what the Lord, went through Cause he paid, the price of sin, for them too. Always try to do what's right This is how we fight the fight Ask yourself, what did, Jesus do [Chorus 2] He killed em with kindness They're walkin in blindness Slaves to sin, and they know not what they do. But it no longer binds us, And the Word reminds us. To do unto them, as you'd have them do to you, So just kill em with kindness [Bridge] As you're out on you're own, you'll face opposition, But lost souls, are your mission. Go and love em best you can, Try and be a good man. Dont try and fit the mold, with courage go be bold and lead who you can into the fold
