Prayers rose like morning light, Through the darkness, through the fight. Walls stood strong, yet hearts were torn, A land divided, a battle-worn. Prayers were whispered, dreams held tight, Waiting for the day of light. Jerusalem, you stood apart, Yet never lost your beating heart. Through trials deep, through skies of gray, You rise anew on this great day! when we hear the trumpets of hashem ring through the city so clear,!!! we say, Jerusalem is built up as a city united together." Through the dust, through the flame, Through the echoes calling their name. Marching forward, hearts held high, For the city beneath the sky. Through the alleys, through the stone, No more broken, not alone. With every step, with every stride, They took Jerusalem, side by side. The trumpet sounded, the banners rose, History turning, the battle close. Through fire, through fight, through years of pain, Jerusalem stood, whole again. The walls embraced, the voices soared, Prayers returned, faith restored. Through the dawn, through the day, Victory rose—this day is now Jerusalem Day! Jerusalem, you stood apart, Yet never lost your beating heart. Through trials deep, through skies of gray, You rise anew on this great day! when we hear the trumpets of hashem ring through the city so clear,!!! we say, Now we walk with love and pride, Through the streets so vast and wide. Songs of victory touch the air, A city strong beyond despair. So we sing, we dance, we pray, Honoring this Jerusalem Day. Bound by faith, and standing tall, Jerusalem—forever standing tall. ohhh, oaahhh,, ohhhwooww
