[ Inspired by the movie SUPERGIRL (2026) and in response to my own "X" query - see: https://x.com/JLenardMichigan/status/2109094130991128695 IF YOU CLAIM GOODNESS (BE NICE) (Ode To SuperGirl) (aka: To The Girl Who Would Become Super) https://suno.com/s/8zP0xevi7xrU9vHc Also see related: CTP (20260629 S4EJunVidExclSpecial) Supergirl - A Silver Lining? - Upon Further Review... https://old.bitchute.com/video/qdG48djAufv2/ #book #books #read #reading #stories #Life #Living I keep coming back over and over to the #SUPERGIRL #movie over-riding storyline moral: "Don't have to be Nice, but I expect you to be GOOD!" Been toying back and forth with potential rework of that line, which works GREAT in that #film, but in/for my https://tinyurl.com/LifeAndLivingS eries #book (which would be 6th in #series) play to: "If you claim to be GOOD, then you need to be NICE!" or something like that! :) It does NOT cost you anything but a little effort to SMILE at others (and see THE BOOK OF KENNEDY: PROJECT CARPE DIEM for the major "smile" sub-thread) and let people know "you are seen, you are noticed, you matter!" THOUGHTS?!?!?!?!?! ] [Verse 1] A recent movie story said you don’t have to be nice but if you say you’re a good one you ought to back it up, at least twice Out on the street, in the checkout line with the kid in the cart and the clerk on shift goodness isn’t a line you quote it’s how you carry the lift [Chorus] So be nice if you’re calling yourself good hold the door, say your piece treat folks like you should it doesn’t cost much just a little respect be nice while you’re here that’s the best thing yet [Verse 2] I’ve seen it in the small stuff the coffee left on the counter by eight the text that says “I’m running late” and still shows up straight No medal for the easy move no badge for the polished grin just a way to leave a room better than the way you walked in [Chorus] So be nice if you’re calling yourself good hold the door, say your piece treat folks like you should it doesn’t cost much just a little respect be nice while you’re here that’s the best thing yet [Bridge] The movie gets its punchline then the credits roll away but real life keeps asking what you’re willing to say [Chorus] So be nice if you’re calling yourself good hold the door, say your piece treat folks like you should it doesn’t cost much just a little respect [outro] A recent movie story proclaimed to the Girl who would become Super You don't always have to be Nice but I expect you to be good for that movie will suffice But for here on Earth, I declare Be Nice, If you claim Goodness Costs nothing to share a smile be nice, while here, all your while. be nice while you’re here that’s the best thing yet [ (C) 2026 Joseph M Lenard media SEND US FEEDBACK (via CTP Show): https://www.buzzsprout.com/2210487/fan_mail/new - https://tinyurl.com/SubscribeToCTP - CTP Audios: https://tinyurl.com/CTPonBuzzsprout - CTP Videos: https://tinyurl.com/CTPonBITCHUTE - https://tinyurl.com/CTPgear - https://tinyurl.com/JLenardDetroitGear - AI images/videos/audio CTP uses: https://tinyurl.com/GalaxyMagicaAI - https://www.buymeacoffee.com/jlenarddetroit ]
