[Verse 1] The room was full of ashes My hands were stained with fear I held my breath for mercy And waited for You near [Pre-Chorus] Then You stepped into the dark Like morning through the seam You touched the place I hid And broke the chain on me [Chorus] Silence no more Silence no more My heart will sing Silence no more (Oh, silence no more) [Verse 2] The stone rolled off my shoulders The night let go my name I heard the slaves come shouting When heaven called my pain [Pre-Chorus] Then You stepped into the dark Like morning through the seam You touched the place I hid And broke the chain on me [Chorus] Silence no more Silence no more My heart will sing Silence no more (Oh, silence no more) [Bridge] Every wound is testimony Every tear became a light Every grave has lost its claim now To the singing in my life [Chorus] Silence no more Silence no more My heart will sing Silence no more (Oh, silence no more)
