--- In the dark, rain-soaked streets of Nocthame (a dark New Age Fantasy City), the young mage Chrysant wields a rare magic through his voice, bending sound to his will. At his side hovers Aster, a small shadowy fragment of the in-between, curious, loyal, and semi-ethereal. When people in the city begin to fall mysteriously silent, Chrysant uncovers an ancient being from the in-between—the Choirkeeper—stealing voices to open a dangerous rift into reality. Navigating abandoned subway tunnels, neon-lit streets, and secret occult circles, Chrysant and Aster must stop the entity and restore the stolen voices of the city. A dark struggle of sound, shadow, and magic unfolds, forcing Chrysant to confront not only the external threat but also the secrets of his late master and the limits of his own power. --- [Verse 1] The rain falls speaking lines that don’t belong to me, and every echo carries someone’s hurt. I walk these streets of silent choirs endlessly, where every shadow wears a whispered word. [Verse 2] The city trembles softly in my breathing, as if it knows the path I’m bound to take. I hear the fractures singing in the evening, as though the darkness wants to warn me what will break. [Chorus] Between the voices fading, I hold the sound that keeps me whole. Between the shadows chasing, I sing against a fractured soul. And when the silence reaches out to claim my heart again— I give it not my love, only my pain. [Verse 3] Aster flickers faintly in the broken window light, he feels the things I’m only sensing late. A stolen tone is drifting somewhere out of sight, and still I follow—whether willing, or by fate. [Chorus] Between the voices fading, I hold the sound that keeps me whole. Between the shadows chasing, I sing against a fractured soul. And when the silence reaches out to claim my heart again— I give it not my love, only my pain. [Bridge] When the Choir calls for me, I carve circles in the air, hum the fracture back into the cold. When the veil begins to breathe, my heart grows thin and bare, shivers pale like neon losing hold. [Chorus (soft, final)] Between the voices fading, I hold the sound that keeps me whole. Between the shadows chasing, I sing against a fractured soul. And when the silence reaches out to claim my heart again— I give it not my love, only my pain. [Outro] And if I fall, let my echo remain: I was never alone—Aster knows my name.
