[Intro] Hey Christians, let me ask you something, If the message is love, why lead with the punishment? If your faith stands tall, why reach for fear? Why does the threat of hell have to bring me near? [Verse 1] You say believe or face eternal flame, But fear ain't proof that your truth is the same. If I gotta tremble just to hear your call, Is that really faith, or just fear of the fall? You tell me God loves me, then you draw the line, "Choose what we believe or you're doomed for all time." But if heaven is truth and your message is strong, Why does damnation have to carry it along? I don't need a threat just to question the sky, I don't need a punishment hanging nearby. If your God is love, then let love make the case, Don't put fear in the room and call it grace. [Hook] Hey Christians, if you gotta threaten hell, To convince somebody your faith is real, Maybe the message ain't standing that well, If fear is the reason that people kneel. If your truth is strong, let it speak for itself, Don't need a threat from the depths of hell. If love is the answer, then love should prevail— You shouldn't need fear just to make faith sell. [Verse 2] I hear "free choice," but the choice feels strange, When one road is heaven and the other is pain. That's like saying "you're free," with a gun on the table, Calling it freedom because technically you're able. I wanna ask questions without being condemned, I wanna think deeply without fearing the end. If doubt makes my faith automatically weak, Then why be afraid of the questions I speak? Maybe conviction doesn't need intimidation, Maybe belief should survive examination. Maybe if something is true, it won't fall apart Every time somebody questions it from the heart. [Bridge] No hate, no war, no need for a fight, Just give me the freedom to question what's right. If your God is eternal, then surely He'll stand When somebody asks with an open mind and hand.
