[Verse 1] Out on the sea where the steel giants roam, Came a shadow so swift, you’d best head home. No guns of thunder, no armor thick, Just stealth and cunning, and torpedoes quick. [Chorus] Asashio! The silent tide, She’ll slip through your fleet with a deadly glide. Battleships tremble, cruisers cry, When fish start swimmin' and sailors die! She don't need guns to make you weep, She'll send you straight to the briny deep! [Verse 2] Radar? Nope. Planes? What are you thinking! She sneaks in low under cover of night. One little ping and your fate is sealed, The ocean’s wrath on a war-torn field. [Bridge] They call her weak, they call her small— 'Til eight torpedoes end it all. You thought you’d brawl, you thought you'd win? Now you’re fish food floatin’ in tin! [Chorus] Asashio! The battleship bane, From Yamato to Iowa, none remain. You brought big guns, you brought big pride, But she brought doom on the incoming tide! With a whisper and splash she seals your fate, Then vanishes fast like a ninja's skate. [Verse 3] She don’t brag, she don’t boast, She just ghosted your whole west coast. She's the sea's assassin, the game's sly queen, Camouflaged death in a warship sheen! [Outro – Spoken, over dramatic chords] So raise your glass to the devil in gray, The one who ruins your battleship day. The Asashio sails with a cheeky grin... ...and you never even knew she’d been. [Final Chorus – crowd joins in] Asashio! The destroyer elite, Dancing torpedoes on silent feet. You won’t hear her, you won’t see— 'Til you’re sending up bubbles at tier 3! So here’s to the queen of the sneaky blow— All hail the terror… the IJN Asashio!
