How do you feel the future when it isn't even here? Try a little gratitude, make the vision clear The body doesn't know the difference, it believes what it receives A thought becomes reality if you're willing to believe You’re waiting for the world to turn to make you feel brand new But nothing ever changes 'til the change begins with you Cause when you're trapped inside the jar, you cannot read the label You gotta step outside yourself and see that you are able Stop dividing up your energy, let the polarity go It’s time to knock upon the door and let the feeling flow Drop down into your heart, leave the judgment at the door Stop analyzing everything, that's what the mind is for Breathe it in, give it life, watch the energy deploy When you finally trust the process... the side effect is joy! Yeah, the side effect is joy! We practice feeling suffering until it’s all we’ve known We do it automatically, seeds that we have sown But the program can be broken, you can unlearn the mistake Let the nervous system settle down, and tell the mind: Awake! Yeah, life is the initiation, it's a wild and chaotic ride But you can't heal the body if you're hiding deep inside Cause when you're trapped inside the jar, you cannot read the label You gotta step outside yourself and see that you are able Stop dividing up your energy, let the polarity go It’s time to knock upon the door and let the feeling flow Drop down into your heart, leave the judgment at the door Stop analyzing everything, that's what the mind is for Breathe it in, give it life, watch the energy deploy When you finally trust the process... the side effect is joy! Yeah, the side effect is joy! It’s so much easier to give up, to scroll the time away But come right up against the I can't and face it all today Where are these thoughts coming from? No one put them there It’s time to clean the house, it's time to breathe the air! Drop down into your heart, leave the judgment at the door Stop analyzing everything, that's what the mind is for Breathe it in, give it life, watch the energy deploy When you finally trust the process... the side effect is joy! Yeah, the side effect is joy! You'll be happy for no reason A permanent kind of glow Trust the river of change Just let the old things go Clean house... Wake up... The side effect is joy.
