WAR SCROLL — COLUMN XII THE KING OF GLORY IS WITH US [Modern progressive rock, deep bass, thunderous live drums, marching snares and military brass] [Verse 1 — The Heavenly Host] A multitude of holy ones in heaven, Hosts of angels in Your dwelling high, Gathered in Your exalted habitation, To praise Your name on high. You established the chosen of Your people, A holy congregation for Your name, The number of their host is known before You, Their names within Your dwelling remain. The number of Your holy ones, Within the dwelling of Your glory, Your covenant of peace engraved, With the stylus of life for ages! [Verse 2 — The Armies of Elohim] Your covenant of peace forever, Your mercies and Your blessing, The thousands and the tens of thousands, The appointed hosts of Israel. With Your holy ones and angels, You direct them into battle, Against the adversaries of the earth, According to Your judgments. Together with the chosen ones of heaven, The host of Israel shall prevail, The holy ones within Your dwelling, And the armies You have called! [Chorus — Full brass, guitars and commanding male choir] THE KING OF GLORY IS WITH US! THE HOLY ONES ARE IN OUR MIDST! THE MIGHTY HOSTS OF HEAVEN! WITH THE ARMIES OF ELOHIM! THE HERO OF WAR IS WITH US! HIS SPIRITS GO BEFORE OUR STEPS! THE KING OF GLORY IS WITH US! THE KING OF GLORY IS WITH US! [Verse 3 — The Holy Ones Among Us] You are awesome in the glory, In the glory of Your dominion, The company of Your holy ones, Stands among us for support. We shall hold the kings in contempt, The mighty men shall face derision, For holy is Yahuah our Elohim, The King of Glory is with us. A mighty host of angels, With our appointed forces, The Hero of War among us, The host of His spirits at our steps. [Verse 4 — The Horsemen and the Rain] Our horsemen like the clouds, Like mist covering the earth, Like a steady falling rain, Pouring judgment on its offspring. The clouds across the land, The mist upon the earth, The downpour bringing judgment, According to Your mighty strength. [Chorus — Heavy guitars, marching snares and military brass] THE KING OF GLORY IS WITH US! THE HOLY ONES ARE IN OUR MIDST! THE HERO OF WAR IS WITH US! HIS HOST GOES WITH OUR STEPS! THE KING OF GLORY IS WITH US! THE MIGHTY HOSTS OF HEAVEN! THE KING OF GLORY IS WITH US! THE KING OF GLORY IS WITH US! [Verse 5 — Rise Up, O Mighty One] Rise up, O mighty warrior, Take Your captives, Glorious One! Take the spoil, O mighty warrior, You who act with mighty strength! Set Your hand upon Your enemies, Your foot upon the fallen, Strike the nations standing against You, Let Your sword consume the guilty! Fill Your land with glory, And Your inheritance with blessing, Abundant cattle in Your fields, Your blessing on Your land! Silver and gold within Your palaces, Precious stones within Your halls, Fill Your land with glory, Your inheritance with blessing! [Verse 6 — Rejoice, O Zion] REJOICE, O ZION! SHINE WITH SONGS OF JOY! REJOICE, O JERUSALEM! LET YOUR PRAISE BE HEARD! Rejoice, all cities of Judah, Open wide your gates forever, Let the wealth of nations enter, Let their kings come forth to serve! Those who once oppressed you, Shall bow before your presence, The daughters of Your people, Shall shout aloud for joy!
