[Verse 1 – The Awakening] Cold stone beneath my hands, a candle burned to grey. Three keys and a memory fading, of a voice that slipped away. Three doors wait in silence, each one breathes my name. I stand there, half-awake, and nothing feels the same. [Verse 2 – The Dream to Decide] So I lay back down and whisper, “Let the dream decide for me.” Sleep folds around my heartbeat, soft as distant sea. I walk through every doorway, one by one they fade, each showing what I wanted— and what I was afraid. [Bridge – Through the Crystal] Then came light that moved like water, a door of living glass. Faces change and blend together, every moment, every past. I reach to touch the shimmer, but the shimmer touches me— and I feel the world behind me turn to possibility. [instrumental solo: fluid slide guitar weaving through shifting Rhodes chords, echoing transformation] [Verse 3 – The Return] I wake again on cold stone, but the moss begins to breathe. The iron hums a lullaby, the crystal waits beneath. I hold the keys much tighter now, but one key starts to glow— Have I come full circle, or have I yet to go? [Outro – The Longing] So I rise and face the crystal, its patterns start to bend. I step toward the moving light, not knowing where it ends. And somewhere deep inside the song, a whisper calls once more— “You’re home each time you open, and still you search for more.” [instrumental outro: reprise of bridge theme, slower, dissolving into silence]
