The Solstice Fire (REMIX ME)

THE SOLSTICE FIRE is a celebration of the ancient midsummer traditions shared across Europe. Long before borders and languages divided us, people gathered around bonfires to welcome the shortest night, honor the sun, leave behind old fears, and celebrate community. This song is inspired by that common heritage: one fire, many voices, one shared story. Whether you come from the North, the South, the East or the West, this fire belongs to all of us. You are invited to make this song your own: remix it, translate it, adapt it to your language, your instruments, your local traditions and your musical style. Let it grow, evolve and travel across Europe. The fire is lit. Now it's your turn to keep it burning. LYRICS: [Verse 1] The shortest night throws open the gates, The earth awakes and the old stone shakes. From northern seas to the southern shore, Bring all your stories and gather once more. Collect the dew from the sleeping ground, While moonlight dances through branches around. [Pre-Chorus] Raise up your hands now, look to the sky, The Solstice Fire is burning tonight! [Chorus] FEED THE FIRE! LEAP THROUGH THE FLAME! DRIVE ALL THE SHADOWS OUT OF THE WAY! WE ARE THE TRIBE THAT DANCES TONIGHT! WE ARE THE SPARK, WE ARE THE LIGHT! BURN THROUGH THE DARKNESS! SCATTER THE PAIN! SHATTER FOREVER THIS IRON CHAIN! [Verse 2] Throw in the fire your oldest fears, The weight of sorrow you've carried for years. Smoke rising high paints signs in the sky, The embers below keep our spirits alive. And voices arriving from distant lands, Become one chorus that everyone understands. [Bridge] If you fall down in the mud, take my hand, Different words, but together we stand. We're singing as one from near and afar, Inside the circle we know who we are. [Instrumental Bridge] [Verse 3] Warm sacred ashes can heal every scar, The solstice turns where the old seasons are. We've stood through the winter and stood through the rain, Now daylight is rising again and again. We mix all our languages round the same flame, The night makes us one and remembers our names. [Final Chorus] FEED THE FIRE! FEED THE FIRE! LEAP THROUGH THE FLAME! DRIVE ALL THE SHADOWS OUT OF THE WAY! WE ARE THE TRIBE THAT DANCES TONIGHT! WE ARE THE SPARK, WE ARE THE LIGHT! [Outro] WE ARE THE SOLSTICE FIRE!
