Verse 1 If I can be a man of faith A father to my sons Let them see Jesus in me And lead them to the One Who can change their lives forever Give them hope to carry on Then maybe I’ve done my best To pass my faith along Chorus Chorus A man of faith That’s all I want to be Showing the way to others So they see Jesus in me A man of faith Who God can count on Not because I never fall But because His grace is strong A man of faith Verse 2 If I can keep my word today When no one else sees Choose the truth when it costs me And love my family If I can learn to forgive And admit when I am wrong Then maybe they will see the One Who’s carried me all along Chorus A man of faith That’s all I want to be Showing the way to others So they see Jesus in me A man of faith Who God can count on Not because I never fall But because His grace is strong A man of faith Bridge When You call, Lord, here I am Take this life and use these hands Whatever You would have me do Let me be faithful to You Not for glory, not for fame Not so they remember my name But when they think of who I’ve been Let them remember You, not me Final Chorus A man of faith That’s all I want to be Showing the way to others So they see Jesus in me A man of faith So, when all is said and done All I want to be Is someone You could count on. Outro Just let me be a man of faith. A man of faith
