Flowing Without Keeping (Shorts)

[Verse 1] From a quiet place beneath the ground Water rises without a sound Not gathered in, not held too near It moves because it’s meant to clear [Verse 2] No name spoken at the spring Just a call to give everything What begins in hidden grace Learns to trust the widening place [Refrain] Flowing without keeping Mercy learning how to go Nothing taken, nothing owned Only grace we don’t control [Verse 3] Every place it passes through Becomes more than what it knew What was given learns to stay By moving gently on its way [Outro] From the source into the wide Mercy moves and does not hide
