Memories

(Intro) Forgetful but Impactful (Chorus) I have so many memories And I have so many dreams But they fade away instantly Now I have a problem with remembering (Verse 1) My memories are placed in a small box As more come in, more falls out As they fall they break easily like rocks And when I try to remember them, my box was in a drought You remember you had those memories but don’t remember what happened And when you tell them you don’t remember they just think you’re capping And when I talk about my dreams, they disappear like steam Cause when I wake up they disappear like a stream (Chorus) I have so many memories And I have so many dreams But they fade away instantly Now I have a problem with remembering (Verse 2) If people say If I remember, I say yes So I can avoid anymore questions Cause In reality I can’t remember anything Even moments from last week You know that memory dump in inside out That’s where all my memories are hiding out When I try and grasp on them they just fade away And I’ll never see them, until I’m in my grave (Bridge) This is when me and my brain are having a falling out When I tried to remember my brain blacks out They were like files that were corrupted and thrown away And I won’t even remember for a single day (Violin and Piano Duet for 20 seconds) (Chorus) I have so many memories And I have so many dreams But they fade away instantly Now I have a problem with remembering
