Neurocircuit Study No. 3: Behavioral Stabilization Attempt (Remix)
[Section A - Sensory Flicker] Light too bright, sound too loud, thoughts too many. I move through the room like static pretending to be a person. The air has corners today; I keep bumping into them. [Section B - Stutter Pulse] I try to start- start- st- but my brain loops the loading screen and forgets what I was doing mid-doing it. Hands hovering over the world like they can’t remember how to land. [Section C - Glitch-Chorus] too much / not enough too sharp / too soft I run hot and cold at the same time like a broken neon sign. (humming - humming - HUM) I’m wired wrong for the tempo here. [Section D - Mask Layer] I wear the practiced version of me that doesn’t flinch at chaos, doesn’t freeze at simple tasks, doesn’t vibrate with restless fire. It fits like an itchy sweater- I smile until the seams bleed. [Section E - Micro-Hook] My brain is a contradiction engine. My heart is a drum with a missing beat. I’m trying. I’m trying. I’m trying. [Section F - Over/Underload Break] I want silence and also stimulation and also comfort and also escape. The cycle spins so fast it becomes a straight line. I lie still waiting for the world to stop wobbling. [Outro - Soft Cutoff] Thought drifts, light hums, and I whisper to the circuitry: “Work with me. Just once.” The signal flickers- blinks- vanishes.
