The Power of Grayskull] [ Verse 1: Male Vocals ] Prince Adam walks the golden palace halls alone, A reluctant heir who fears the burden of the throne. He hides his secret doubt behind a royal smile, While destiny is waiting for him all the while. [ Pre-Chorus 1: Female Vocals ] The wind begins to howl through Evergreen's terrain, As shadows from the mountain spread a dark disdain. A legacy is waiting for the chosen hand, To save the ancient secrets by his own command. [ Chorus 1: Male and Female Duet ] To save the world we must embrace the weight of fate, To find the heart of courage before it is too late. The greatest force is found within the hearts that rise, For every soul on earth and every holy prize. [ Verse 2: Female Vocals ] Now Skeletor brings down the staff to break the seal, With purple bolts of fire that make the planet reel. He steals the Starship, poisons every stream and tree, As Adam seeks the path between the deep and sea. [ Pre-Chorus 2: Male Vocals ] With Man-At-Arms and Teela on the winding track, To push the raging titan and his army back. The Sorceress is watching from the falcon’s height, To see if Adam finds the will to face the night. [ Chorus 2: Male and Female Duet ] When darkness tries to pull us down we stand our ground, The sacred fire is the only hope we’ve found. The duty that we carry is the only way to lead, To be the shield and armor for the ones in need. [Instrumental Break - Melodic Piano Solo and Warm Strings] [ Bridge 1: Male and Female Duet ] The glowing silver Power Sword is raised on high, As lightning bolts from out the skull-shaped fortress fly. He grips the cross-guard hilt and lets the magic take, Until the castle drawbridge starts to bend and quake. [ Verse 3: Male Vocals ] The champion is standing where the prince once stood, To cast the wicked armies from the darkened wood. He strikes the ground with thunder that will shatter stone, To take back every valley that he calls his own. [ Pre-Chorus 3: Female Vocals ] The battle rages through the valley and the mist, As every wicked force is met with iron fist. The sorcery is sparking in the gloomy air, While courage fights the bitter spirit of despair. [ Chorus 3: Male and Female Duet ] A noble path is chosen when our glory fades, We step into the sunshine from the quiet shades. True power is a promise kept to those in pain, To keep the world from falling to the dark again. [ Bridge 2: Male and Female Duet ] The emerald fur of Battle Cat is wrapped in steel, A mighty roar that makes the cruel armies kneel. They shatter Havoc's mask and break the grip of fear, As the victory of Grayskull is the sound they hear. [ Verse 4: Female Vocals ] The light returns to every field and mountain glade, The debt of every ancestor is fully paid. The Sorceress finds rest within the highest spire, While peace begins to quench the raging spirit's fire. [ Pre-Chorus 4: Male Vocals ] The sword is sheathed but ready for the call to war, To guard the humble people by the temple door. The crown is not a piece of gold but willing might, To be the one who carries all the burdened light. [ Final Chorus: Male and Female Duet ] The destiny we feared is now a golden crown, We walk the narrow road and lay the worry down. No longer bound by who we were but who we are, To answer to the calling of the northern star. [ Outro: Male and Female Duet ] The power is restored within the castle walls, The tide of dark rebellion in the valley falls. The Prince of Eternos has found the strength to stand, The Master of the Universe guards all the land.
