Sunrise, bloodshot, gym clock on a cold floor, Leg press, chest stress, chasing that old roar, Dad bod, sad jog, still trying to get ripped quick, Hamstrings screaming like “mate… we not built for this.” Pre-work, deep burn, headphones in beast mode, Mind race, high stakes, pressure in reload, One set, cold sweat, fighting with fatigue now, Still lifting life while life trying to pin me down. Work calls, missed calls, emails while I’m benching, One bloke wants a forecast, another wants tensioning, Meanwhile I’m mid-rep trying not to pass out, Thinking “can a brother get one peaceful workout?” Protein, routine, meal plans and motivation, Three days disciplined then Uber Eats temptation, Chicken rice, dad advice, “balance” sounds nice, Till Aleera wants nuggets and Tyden wants fries. Friday boys weekend, “one beer” turned twenty, Now Blake’s boat broke and the rods ain’t plenty, Tony caught sun while I caught barra glory, Still retelling that fish like a war hero story. Then Monday comes punching like Tyson in ‘88, Flood rain, road rage, stress stacked heavyweight, Lisa school-run juggling dance shoes and acro, While I’m calming grown men through another Teams battle. Calm face, fast pace, centred-ish somehow, One eye twitching but I’m still saying “all good now,” Half therapist, half facade philosopher, Trying to stop site fights turning nuclear. Mind state, migrate, drift deep at night though, Thinking ‘bout purpose while doom-scrolling finance growth, Cost living climbing like a villain in a montage, Meanwhile I’m buying fruit thinking “bro this costs what?” Still laugh through it ‘cause the joke keeps me breathing, Humour’s like armour when the stress keeps squeezing, Can’t cry every time life gets absurd, Sometimes you gotta roast the pain with words. So I spit slick, quick wit, tongue-twist cadence, Storm-brain, wordplay, rhythmic maintenance, Because if I stop laughing at the madness we in, Then the madness might finally actually win. But truth is I love this messy little life, The chaos, the noise, the pressure, the fights, The camping trips, car songs, late-night drives, Those tiny perfect moments hidden in the grind. So tomorrow I’ll wake and repeat the scene, Gym shoes, flood news, caffeine and Teams, Still trying to evolve while surviving the spin, A calm chaos conductor with a stressed grin.
