Verse 1 The Lord is my light and salvation, The stronghold of my life. Though enemies rise all around me, I will trust Him through the fight. When trouble comes, He’ll hide me And lift my head above it all. Chorus Seek His face and wait on the Lord; Be strong, take courage, and hold on. He’ll shelter you and set your feet Upon the solid Rock. You will see the goodness of the Lord Here in the living land. Verse 2 A man after God’s own heart Knew where to turn and pray: “Let me stay close to Your presence; Lord, don’t turn Your face away. Though my family may leave me, I know You will always stay.” Bridge Teach me how to walk the right road; Protect me from their lies. I would have lost my heart completely If I hadn’t believed in You. Final Chorus Seek His face and wait on the Lord; Be strong, take courage, and hold on. He’ll shelter you and set your feet Upon the solid Rock. You will see the goodness of the Lord Here in the living land.
