Title: La Loba – Gathering the Bones Take a slow breath. Let your shoulders soften. Let your body settle. Tonight we enter an old story. A story carried through desert winds and whispered around fires. The story of La Loba. The Bone Woman. She walks the desert alone beneath wide skies and ancient mountains. Patiently searching the earth. Not for treasure. But for bones. She gathers the bones of wolves. The wild ones. The ones who once ran freely across the land. She bends down and picks up a bone. Then another. And another. Patiently gathering the scattered pieces of what once lived. Now imagine you are walking across that same desert. The air is warm. The earth beneath your feet is ancient. In the distance you see her. An old woman walking slowly across the sand. She carries a sack over her shoulder. You follow her to a quiet cave. Inside the air is cool and still. La Loba kneels on the earth floor and begins placing the bones together. A spine. A rib. A skull. Each bone returning to its place. Slowly the shape of a wolf appears. For a moment the bones lie still. Waiting. Then La Loba begins to sing. A low ancient song. Not quite words. More like the sound of the earth remembering. As she sings something begins to happen. The bones shimmer. Muscle returns. Fur grows. The wolf breathes. Slowly at first. Then deeper. And suddenly the wolf stands. Strong. Alive. It looks toward the open desert. And it runs. Running freely across the land. Powerful and wild. And as it runs something magical happens. The wolf begins to change. The running wolf transforms into a laughing woman. Hair flying. Arms wide. Alive again. Now imagine La Loba turning toward you. She looks directly into your eyes. And asks a simple question. What bones of your life need gathering? Perhaps there are parts of yourself that have been scattered. Pieces of creativity. Pieces of courage. Pieces of joy. Pieces of wildness. Gently gather them. One by one. Your curiosity. Your imagination. Your wisdom. Your spirit. Place them together. The bones of your true self. And listen. Deep within you there is also a song. The song that calls your life back into motion. You do not have to sing it perfectly. Just begin. Let the song of your life return. Slowly. Naturally. Take a breath. Feel the ground beneath you. Feel the life moving through your body. You are gathering your bones. And something within you is coming back to life. When you are ready gently return. Carry the bones of your life with care. And remember. The wild wolf is never truly gone. It only waits for its bones to be gathered. From my Soul Journey to yours.
